Sketch artists: NYCC Recap Part Three

Sketches acquired while at New York Comic Con:

Nick Fury – by Mike Morales (Drawn in Age of X trade, though Fury doesn’t appear in storyline. Morales chose this character. I asked for his version of Psylocke from the story, but he wouldn’t take a request).

Moonstar – From Age of X, by Clay Mann

Basilisk – From Age of X, by Jay Leisten

Captain America – From Age of X, by Simone Bianchi

Colossus – by Mark Bagley (Asked him to draw his favorite character from the X-Men)

Illyana – by Giuseppe Camuncoli

Lockheed – by Chris Sotomayer

Pixie – by Mark Brooks

Emma Frost – by Greg Pak (a writer who dabbles in drawing)

Rachel Grey – by Billy Tan

Karma – by Phil Noto

Legion – From Age of X, by Clay Mann

Then there was Phil Jiminez, who sketched for free for hours while he was at his table in the Artist’s Alley. Shaun and I waited for about three hours for our sketches. Which probably wasn’t long enough, given what Phil created for us. Dark Phoenix (for me) and Tarot (for Shaun, who also got to pick the specific tarot card wielded by Tarot in the sketch)
