At a McDonald’s near the Javits Center. Left Buffalo around 10 last night, drove all night (by way of Pennsylvania and New Jersey), and arrived a bit ago. Shaun and I, here for New York Comic Con. He’s eating hot cakes; I’m drinking coffee. Doors are at 7 (to get inside building), and the convention begins at 10. Shaun’s first comic convention; my first in New York. Boxes of comic books in the trunk to get signed. A schedule to follow and plans to keep.
