Spiderman, with his red-and-blue costume and his wrist web fluid shooters, occupied, for about three months, the attention of my four-year-old son Avery. He begged to watch Spiderman cartoons, memorized some of the dialogue from on-demand cartoons streaming via Netflix, and convinced me to find for him the three seasons of the 1980s cartoon Spiderman and His Amazing Friends.
