mon coeur nominated for a Pushcart Prize

Was running errands when I heard the news: Revolution House has nominated mon coeur, an excerpt from House of Cards, for a Pushcart Prize.

The Pushcart Prize is the most honored literary project in America. Magazine and small book press editors (print or online) may make up to six nominations — of any combination of poetry, short fiction, fiction, essays, or literary whatnot — from their year’s publications.

Pushcart Prize winners are included in a “best of” collection published each year. Judging occurs in the spring.

And no, I’m not related to the series editor.
